Nam Joo-hyuk, Lee Yi-dam, Kim Eui-sung and Park Hoon will appear together in the Disney+ series Code. Yoo Su-min, whose Weak Hero series drew wide attention, is directing the project and is expected to bring the same tight control of character and action to a different genre.

Code is described as a mystery crime thriller about Yoon Tae-joo, an opportunistic lawyer willing to cross legal and ethical lines. His ambitions change direction when he receives an invitation to a mysterious application that promises to grant wishes.

Nam plays Yoon, a former prosecution investigator determined to become a partner at a leading law firm by any available means. The invitation from the Code app pulls his career plans into a chain of unexplained events and gives the actor a role built around moral ambiguity.

Lee plays Park Ji-dam, a Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office prosecutor who follows Yoon while trying to uncover the truth behind cases connected to the app. Their shared past adds tension each time the two characters meet.

Kim appears as Cho Cheol-ho, a North Korean defector and hacker who unexpectedly works with Yoon. Park plays violent-crimes detective Lim Chang-jae, Yoon's friend and an ally in the search for the people behind Code.

Yoo previously drew strong performances from a young ensemble in Weak Hero. Code is expected to combine genre suspense with deeper psychological portraits, including a different side of Nam Joo-hyuk. The series is planned for a worldwide Disney+ release beginning in 2027.
